Hello to the world from Amushé Cafe (AH-MOO-SHAY)!

The story behind Amushé begins in Gaeta, Italy, where Nonni and Nonno (grandparents to the owner of Amushé Cafe) would say “Amushen”, or let’s go, in their native dialect. In 2021, after some back and forth about how the actual word is spelled, Nonni confirmed that “Amushen” is a made-up word known only to the older generation in Gaeta, and it was perfectly fine if the “n” was taken away or made silent. Put simply, when you think of “Andiamo”, think of Amushé, and when you think of Amushé, think of Amushé “caffè” as in: “let’s go get some coffee.”

Fast forward to now, we’ve been extremely busy the past few years getting our business up and running, but we are finally here and excited to share our story and our love of coffee with all of you! Before we do, we want to say thank you to the town of Winchester. We can’t overemphasize this enough: THANK YOU WINCHESTER!!!

Winchester has been our home base since last July, and the amount of support shown to us since then has been unbelievably amazing. We wish we could spend all of our time in Winchester driving around handing out free coffees like newspapers to all the folks who’ve helped us get to this point; maybe one day. Seriously, we thank each and every person who ever managed to stop by our trailer around town to purchase coffee.

Alright, back to business. As mentioned, we are in the business of selling coffee, from a teeny-tiny, but mighty, mobile trailer. Our trailer was bought, then built, or built, then bought, then built again. First, in January 2024, we played taxi service to pick up our EMPTY trailer from New Jersey and transport it back to Massachusetts.

Then, we spent the spring of 2024 and the rest of the year planning and building out the trailer's interior to create a suitable space to sell coffee. By we, we mean our all-in-one electrician, carpenter, architect, plumber, mechanic, and father/soon to be father in law. Amushé would not exist if it were not for the two hands and mind of Damiano Valente. If you need someone to help build you a coffee trailer (or anything), we know a guy :) Thank you, Damiano!

In 2025, we hit the road. We sold coffee at sporting events, grand openings, public parks and streets, private family events, private corporate events, school events, and anywhere else we could think of and drive to. It was quite the first year, and it zoomed by, but it was a very precious experience, one we are grateful for, and hope to use as we look toward better 2026 spring, summer, and fall seasons.

So, here’s to: having a hot or iced coffee, a latte, an americano, here’s to almond, two percent, or oat milk, here’s to hot chocolate, a cappuccino, here’s to decaf, whipped cream, cold foam, and vanilla, caramel, and mocha flavors.

Here’s to another great day at Amushé Cafe!
